After putting in time, money and effort into completing your degree and passing the NCE you are ready to begin your work as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A).

As an LPC-A in Texas you are required to complete 3,000 hours of counseling work with 1,500 direct and 1,500 indirect. Supervision is required 4 hours a month in an individual or group setting. Working with a supervisor who understands your goals can help you determine the type of career you want to build as an LPC.

The Confident Clinician program uses group and individual supervision sessions to explore what will support you in becoming the clinician you aspire to be. The program also features guest speakers, training opportunities and other resources that will boost the experience and enhance your ability to build your identity as a therapist.

Marchele Lee, LPC-S will be available outside of supervision sessions to help with any client challenges you may face. She is dedicated to ensuring the associates in the Confident Clinician program know they are supported and capable of doing the work we are called to do.
